My client, HomewaresDirect, is not far from launching their new online store and their appointed Online Operator is only available two days per week (Tuesday and Friday). As this role requires attention each day we seek an additional full-time or part-time Online Operator and will accept applications or expressions of interest from interested people direct to company owner Elizabeth Gilbert.
This role could suit a parent returning to work (9-3), a university student who needs daily flexibility, a person who is only able to work three days per week (ie to fit around the existing employee), etc (I’m sure you get the drift). Online Operator, Online Retail Store
Part store administration, part social marketer, this role as Online Operator, would suit a flexible, responsible and trustworthy individual with a friendly personality. This role is five days per week, however hours are negotiable.
The roles main responsibility is to ensure customer services are fulfilled for the HomewaresDirect online store in line with company policies. The day to day tasks for this role include co-ordination of sales received from the online store, warehouse administration and delivery logistics (picking and packing). They are responsible for administering the company stock management system (MINDER) for accurate presentation of products for sale online.
The Online Operator works together with the company owner and marketer to plan and schedule campaigns for the online store and/or selected social media platforms. They monitor and support any online or social media campaigns in a customer service capacity and are responsible for managing online customer/client relationships in a professional and courteous manner.
